The School Year
The school follows the annual calendar of the Department of Education. The school session begins in June and closes in April. Summer vacation is usually in the months of April, May and June. Short breaks are provided around Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Christmas and New Year. Dates for vacations vary each year and must be verified from the school almanac. Gazetted holidays are followed as per government rules. Details about school events are also listed in the school almanac.
The school takes special care to select and identify books that support our educational philosophy and simultaneously equip our students to be at par with desirable scholarly levels. Textbooks and recommended readings are available from the school at a separate cost. Stationery kits and uniforms for students may also be purchased from the school.
Jr. KG & Sr. KG 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm
Nursery 9:00 am to 11:00 am & 10:00 am to 12:00
Playgroup 11:30 pm to 1:30 pm
The school has a reliable arrangement with contractors who provide transport to pick children from near their homes and drop them at same point at the end of the school day. The bus fee is calculated for twelve months of the year, as per the number of users each year. The school provides transport to students on official request.

The Curriculum
Kids Planet Preschool Curriculum revolves around nature where real situation leads to real learning. It consists of 5 underlying thematic units. All units encompass five trans-disciplinary content learning areas: (1) Language Arts; (2) Socio-Emotional Skills; (3) Numeracy; (4) Creative and Visual Arts; (5) Fine and Gross Motor Skills. The curriculum is based on proven and peer reviewed concepts that include play, inquiry and objective based learning styles.
The objectives of the curriculum which are designed to cultivate critical thinking, raise self-awareness, promote an understanding of other cultures and encourage internationalism and multilingualism.
